Strengthening our Community

During the 40 years of it’s existence  the Rotary Club of Howrah has developed a number of local and International Projects projects ..

• Buddy benches at local primary schools
• A Barbecue at Cremorne,
• Pathways and parks  at Howrah
• Camps for needy youngsters.
• Caring for and  maintaining one of the oldest church buildings in the area, the Congregation church and burial ground at Sandford.
• Purchasing equipment for the local surf club.
• Building  a shelter for the Orana Girl Guide Camp
• Providing a number of seats  in parks and walkways.
• We have assisted youth groups and people in need through our support for Second Bite Food Rescue, Neighbourhood Centres,  youth groups such as Youth Mission and Ready Set Go
• A  Barbecue Rotunda at Wentworth Park
