Common Ground Tasmania works in cooperation with State, Federal, Local government and the private sector to deliver supportive housing services to homeless people and more affordable housing for those in significant need.

The Rotary Club of Howrah has been assisting in the setup of some of the  first 100 units  made available in Hobart. Here President Reg Emmett hands a cheque to committee member Thea Fairbrother. The funds will be used to furnish one unit.
